On this page you will find; the volunteering opportunities I have secured for you, details of some upcoming events, key contacts and information about charities we are supporting this year.
The main charity we are supporting this year is PAPYRUS (Prevention of Young Suicide) - as voted for by members. PAPYRUS support young people who are thinking about suicide and aim to educate the community in order to prevent any more young people taking their lives.
Alongside PAPYRUS will be fundraising for other charities during the year so keep an eye out for those events below.
2020/21 Main Charity
The main charity we are raising money for this year is PAPYRUS. This was voted for by members. We will be sending them any profits from fundraising events and raising awareness about the charity during the year. We also aim to have some volunteering opportunities with PAPYRUS when it is safe to do so.
PAPYRUS support young people who are thinking about committing suicide and anyone who is struggling to support a young person who may be thinking of committing suicide.
PAPYRUS aims to create a more open society and reduce the number of young people who take their own life by removing stigmas surrounding mental health.
The Grey Society is proud to support PAPYRUS this year and try to stop the biggest killer in under 35s in the UK.
In 2019/20 The Grey Society Hosted Several Charity and Fundraising Events. See the Gallery on the left for Photos.

One of my main jobs is to get members actively involved in volunteering during the academic year. It's great to give back, gaining vital skills, make new friends and boost your CV or get started in your career. Have a look below at some of the opportunities I have already found or drop me an email if there is a place you wish to volunteer with and I can see if we can make it happen!
